Donations Make Landfall Programs Possible!

Your donation* makes Landfall's programs possible.  While
the Trust derives limited revenue from membership fees and annual operations, this falls considerably short of the funds necessary to maintain the property and historic structures, to
run its cultural and heritage programs and achieve long term sustainability.

Sponsor a Writer or Music Residendcy? Landfall artist residencies are provided free of charge. A 2-week residency costs the Trust $1,500. An artist honorarium may cost an additional $1,500 ( just to assist with travel expenses).

Might you or an agency you work with co-sponsor a residency and assist the Trust to expand its unique seasonal residencies?

Landfall Endowment Established

In November of 2010, the Landfall Trust Board of Directors in cooperation with the trustees of the Folensbee Estate established the Bradley Jacob Folensbee, Jr. Landfall Legacy Endowment.  The Folensbee Estate will match, dollar-for-dollar, all funds raised by the Trust to $100,000.

Dedicated to the preservation of Landfall and the historic Kent Cottage, the Endowment earnings will ensure the Trust's long-term sustainability. Will you help the Trust conserve this remarkable corner of Newfoundland history?

Please do make a tax-deductible donation* to the Trust today and help preserve the historic Kent Cottage so that we may continue to offer uniquely suited residencies to artists, writers and musicians.  Each tax deductible dollar you donate will be matched by the Estate of the late Bradley Jacob Folensbee, Jr.

Purchase a Landfall Trust Artist-in-Residence Artist Fine-Art Print

Yesteryear, Brigus, 12 x 20" watercolour, BJF, 1963

The purchase of a Landfall artist fine-art print supports
the Trust and its programs. Proceeds from the Gerald Squires print, Kent Cottage at Landfall, supports long-term conservation of Landfall's Kent Cottage. Proceeds from Jake's Mid-Century Brigus Scenes are contributed to the Landfall Legacy Endowment and are matched, dollar for dollar, by the Folensbee Estate.

To purchase a fine-art print, please visit our Landfall Press page.

Thank you...

Elinor G. Ratcliffe, C.M., O.N.L., through the Gill Ratcliffe Foundation, contributed $1,000 to the Trust. The funds are the first to go into the Bradley Jacob Folensbee, Jr. Landfall Legacy
Endowment and are matched by the Folensbee Estate. Earnings from the Endowment support the preservation of Landfall's historic Kent Cottage ensuring the continuation of Trust programs for the study and practice of the arts and cultural preservation.

The Trust also gratefully acknowledges the contributions of:

  • The Folensbee Estate, whose continuing support makes the Landfall Trust possible.
  • The many volunteers who have made their "time, talents and treasure" available in support of the Trust and its programs.
  • Newfoundland artist Gerald Squires for the creation and donation of the water colour Kent Cottage at Landfall. Released as a limited edition print, the proceeds from the sale of the print support the Trust's Kent Cottage conservation efforts and program offerings.
  • Ron and Pat Burke for their unfailing support maintaining the Landfall property and Kent Cottage, and hospitality greeting guests and visitors.
