When the cottage is not occupied
by an artist-in-residence, it is available as a vacation retreat from
May to October. The cottage is rustically beautiful and accommodates
up to four persons in two bedrooms. Income generated from cottage
vacations rentals support the programs of the Trust and operation
of the cottage.
The cottage contains:
- Two bedrooms, one with double and one
with twin beds,
- A kitchen with propane fridge, stove
and oven,
- A sitting room,
- An art studio and gallery,
- A bath with handheld shower,
- Bedding, kitchen and bath towels are
provided.
Indoor fresh water is provided from nearby hillside streams with waterfalls.
Bottled drinking water is recommended. Being off the grid, oil heat
and propane are provided. The cottage electricity comes from DC power
for lighting and an AC inverter powers other light electrical needs.
Scenic hikes start at the cottage front door.
Rates for 2007 are CAN $650.00 per week.
